Mama Bear was feeling creative and decided that she might take a break from her normal day's activities to decorate her cave. In the corners of her mind resides parts of the land that she has visited -- either in reality or thru dreams and pictures. Occasionally, Mama Bear tries to bring these places out so that others might enjoy them also. This is the scene Mama Bear sees after traveling thru the dark forests. She comes to a clearing and before her is this breathtaking scene. After Mama Bear looks her fill, she returns to her cave and paints it so that others might see too.

Hope for the Future

While searching for berries and other staples. Mama Bear happened upon this scene. She was thinking that it'd be an awesome scene to paint and hang on the walls of her cave. It also would provide a place for Mama Bear to "get away" if only in her mind.

Mama Bear thinks that Papa Bear could also fish here -- if he was inclined -- so that they might store up food for the coming harsh times. The baby bears are not inclined to hibernate but continue to pursue many ridiculous options such as: education, romping with other bears of their approximate age but opposite genders, and other equally anderledes endeavors.

Obviously, Mama Bear needs to keep a sharp eye on her baby bears.

News From the Cave

I can imagine that you are all interested as to what is going on in our neck of the woods. There are times when I would like to know also -- however, now is not one of those times. I am pretty much up on what is happening.

Papa Bear is being semi-retired. He's under foot to poor Mama Bear more than he was, but he seems to be less pressured to "run and do" than he was. He is not as stressed which works well for Mama Bear.

Mama Bear is sewing up lots of totes for her baby bears and sibling bears. She is also making quilts for her grand baby bears -- which she has none of at this point.

Mama Bear recently returned from a forage in the wilds of Utah. She was seeking a new hunting ground but decided that she likes her home forest just fine. She also went to check up on her two baby bears that are going to school at BYU. She likes to make sure that they are surviving out in the world.
